Fuck snitches

As dismal as it may be to report, it has been over a year and a half since Peter Young's arrest. With his capture came 85 pages of Justin Samuels' sealed court testimony. For the first time in seven years Peter and the animal rights community were able to read 85 pages of undeniable betrayal.

Some "activists" decided to work against Peter Young while he was a fugitive and openly support Justin Samuels' deceit and excuse his actions, including David Agarnoff, who went so far as to lie on Justin's behalf.

When Justin turned his back on Peter and testified before the grand jury he wasn't just snitching on Peter, he sold out all the animals he had once worked for. When snitches emerge into our progressive movement they need to be confronted and exposed. As a community we need to shun confirmed government informants, even those who apologize and show remorse.***Justin still says he's not a snitch**** If they can do it once, they will do it again.

Despite the release of Justin Samuels testimony and Peter's Statement regarding Justin, David, and Nicole Fink some "activists" have continued to work with a known government informant! To continue to work with them at this time is inexcusable.

Our plan is to write letters, emails, make phone calls to every confirmed associate of Justin Samuel and encourage them to break ties once and for all.

Let us make clear that it is not our intention that these people stop their work. We support vegan business and our vegan community, we hope the people whom we speak of will continue 100% and whole heartily. But in order to do that, they must stop working with people who work against that --- there is no grey area in this situation.

The first two people we are asking you to contact are Bob Linden of GoVeganRadio.com and Joy Zakarian of AllVeganShopping.com. Both of these people currently have website accounts with Justin Samuel and rely on him for the technical support that goes along with it. We're asking you to please encourage them to find an alternative webmaster.

Bob first received our letter a month ago and has received a few more since then with no reply.

Joy was spoken to about the situation a few months ago and was told about alternatives. She declined and saw no problem with using Justin or what he did.

To some people, it seems of little consequence who hosts what website, but that naïve view is dangerous, Justin Samuel is a known government snitch, who has unrestricted access to every email, and every detail of every site he hosts. These implications are obviously chilling. It's entirely possible that Justin is keeping track of animal rights activist and groups for the government.

Here is a Template letter to use:

Dear Bob / Joy,

We're writing to encourage you to seek out a new webmaster as an
alternative to the government informant, (Justin Samuel), whom you continue to work with. We have verified that your website is still hosted by Justin. In fact, the very email address we are emailing you on is provided through his
personal server.

Several of us in the activist community feel that this is unacceptable.

We fully understand that many people, some of us included, were initially deceived by David Agranoff and Justin. But, the release of Justin's Grand Jury testimony over one year ago makes it perfectly clear what Justin did.

Justin Samuel sealed the government's case against Peter Young…period. The excuse still lingers that Justin did nothing wrong, that he told the feds what they already knew; unfortunately this simplistic view is both naive and dangerous. Without Justin's testimony, Peter would have had a real opportunity to defend himself, since the government did not have any witnesses nearly as damning as one of the co-conspirators.

It perplexes us that this issue isn't clear to you and that you haven't acted on it. Several of us in the vegan community look to your work as an incredible resource and are very happy that it exists, but the longer you continue to work with Justin, the more tainted it has become. Working with Justin towards the goal of advancing animal liberation is a slap in the face
to every government resistor, every liberator, every person who picks up a bull horn, every person who demonstrates. Justin betrayed all of us the day he sided with the government; by forgiving these dastardly deeds we send the wrong message to those within the vegan and activist communities: that working with snitches is OK, that giving evidence to the government is fine,
that betraying a hero to save your own neck is a noble path. It's obvious that none of this is ok and we hope that you believe these things to be true as well.

David Agranoff laid the seeds and acted as Justin's own personal apologist, constantly arguing in favor of his re-integration into the vegan/activist community. Justin's livelihood is dependent on the same community he both betrayed and continues to weaken by his very presence. He has access to your email and every other email address that he hosts. Do you trust him to not help the government the next time they try to put the screws to him? No reasonable person would submit that trust to him. That is why it is so very important for you to help send the message that you either work for the animals, or you work against them (and for the government). There can be no compromise in this view.

Finding an alternative way to promote your hard work and effort
will not be a difficult feat. Wouldn't you feel better working with someone who has never betrayed the animals? We hope you will and would be happy to try to put you in touch with the resources that can make this possible.
